After a lengthy and vigorous process assessing the Chipper Champ 2 chip sorting machine, Holland Casino were very pleased to sign a 5-year exclusive supply contract, during the recent G2E show in Las Vegas.
Holland Casino has been a long-standing customer of TCSJOHNHUXLEY across a broad spectrum of products for many years. The core of the relationship however, is based on the Chipping Machine. Holland Casino entered into its first rental agreement of chip sorting machines some 18 years ago, with the Chipper Champ being supplied to all their casinos throughout Holland. The original machines lasted for many years until the introduction of the Chipper Champ Plus, which Holland Casino installed on a like for like replacement throughout their estate. The rentals continued and their satisfaction was further demonstrated when TCSJOHNHUXLEY introduced the Chipper Champ 2 to the market and agreed to a head to head trial against a competitive product.
Discussions around the trial commenced late 2006 where Roger Hawkins (then MD for Europe) and David Charnock (GM for Europe), entered into discussion with Amber Ho-A-Sjoe (Vice President – Product Management) and Robin Middendorp (Senior Product Manager Table Games) around the upgrade and renewal of the Chipper Contract with the Group. Finally a 3-month trial was agreed to take place in two of Holland Casino’s key properties – Scheveningen and Rotterdam.
Both chipping machines were vigorously tested from all perspectives – technical, efficiency, operational, noise etc. and employees were formally required to complete preference questionnaires and voice opinions about all aspects of the machines. After the 3-month trial was complete, the Chipper Champ 2 unit was recommended as the preferred option.
Amber Ho-A-Sjoe was delighted with the outcome and commented, “Holland Casino has thoroughly approached the choice for a new chip sorting machine, and we are pleased to continue our relationship with TCSJOHNHUXLEY with their new machine.”
TCSJOHNHUXLEY would like to take the opportunity to thank Holland Casino for their continued business and support throughout this process and at the same time, welcome Mr Flink as he now leads the Holland Casino organisation.
