TCS completes acquisition of US-based dice manufacturer Midwest Game Supply

UK-based manufacturer and supplier of end-to-end live gaming solutions and services TCSJOHNHUXLEY has concluded the acquisition of manufacturer and distributor Midwest Game Supply Inc, the company announced on Monday. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

The transition period of the acquisition of US-based Midwest Game Supply, which specializes in dice as well as additional product lines, including layouts and accessories, first began in November. An irrevocable undertaking to purchase all issued and outstanding shares of the Missouri-headquartered company was announced at that point.

The deal has now been finalized after all the required regulatory approvals for the company to become fully integrated within the TCSJOHNHUXLEY Group were received. The MWGS facility in Kearney, Missouri, will continue to operate as usual and “provide the perfect springboard for TCSJH to establish an expanded Midwest presence,” according to a press release.

We are delighted to conclude the acquisition of Midwest Game Supply and are looking forward to continuing the strong legacy Linda and Charles Sohm have established, working with their children and the excellent team in Missouri,” said Tristan Sjöberg, TCSJOHNHUXLEY Executive Chairman.

According to Sjöberg, the completion of the MWGS takeover commences a new chapter for the group, which will see TCSJH expanding its footprint “in the US and beyond,” as well as providing customers “with unrivaled solutions and service support.”

The acquisition builds upon an ongoing relationship between both businesses over many years. When former MWGS owners Charles and Linda Sohm announced they planned to retire, TCSJOHNHUXLEY appeared as a “natural fit” to overtake the company.

First established in 1945, Midwest Game Supply is a company mainly dedicated to manufacturing and distributing dice, with a worldwide customer base that covers the whole of the USA and additional countries. The business also develops other casino floor products, including layouts and accessories.

As TCSJOHNHUXLEY is committed to growing its business, this operation aligned “perfectly with the company’s vision” to become the premier supplier of live table games to the North American American market, according to an earlier press statement.

TCSJH offers products in a wide range of areas, including roulette wheels, gaming tables, casino chip sorters, winning-number displays, card shufflers, electronic gaming terminals, money wheels, gaming floor optimization software, and more.

The MWGS takeover follows the acquisition of Gaming Partners International’s table, layout and accessories product lines, which concluded in February 2020. “We believe the acquisition of these assets will build on the strong foundations established by both companies and will position TCSJOHNHUXLEY to provide unrivaled casino floor turnkey solutions to our customers across the Americas,” Sjöberg said at the time.
